Art Cares Summer Camp FAQ’s

 

Q:  What lessons will be taught and what will my child learn?

A:  Each child will be guided directly by our Director, Patrick Coleman.

Whether your child is interested in Art for fun, or to work on their technical skill, each Artist will be given instruction individually to suit their needs and aspirations.

 

Q:  What is the Studio like?

A:   The studio is the High School Art Studio at Del Norte.  Safe and secure      the studio is on a secure campus.

 

Q:  What age groups will be at the camp?

A:  The camp is open to K-12 students.  Students will be grouped by age and supervised at all times by our Director, Patrick Coleman

 

Q:  Who is the Director, Patrick Coleman?

A:  Patrick Coleman is the Department Chair of the Arts and Electives Department at Del Norte High School.  Patrick has been teaching for 25 years and is a local professional artist and musician.

 

Q:  What is Art Cares?

A:  Art Cares was created to bring more Art opportunities to our community.  Our mission is to create a place where our community can gather to create and connect.

Our vision to provide Art instruction, Art appreciation, Art Therapy and to educate and promote the value of the Arts in all aspects of society.
